This workshop identifies the key steps, processes and issues that are required to initiate successful regional economic development.
Interactive in design, and based around practical Australian and overseas case studies, the workshop focuses special attention on identifying and developing the skills that are needed to make strategic choices at a regional level. It offers frameworks for understanding the key issues, dynamics and complexities of and to implement realistic action plans for sustainable regional economic development.
The Regional Economic Policy Skills Development Workshop was developed for, and has been conducted at, the Sustainable Economic Development for Regional Australia (SEGRA) Conference from 1999-2006.
