Aims
This one-day program takes a hands-on and interactive approach to developing your managerial strengths and natural leadership abilities. The course focuses on developing emotional intelligence through self-awareness, self-confidence and improving interpersonal communications skills.
Whether you are entry-level staff member or a top executive being successful is much more than just intelligence. Emotional intelligence is about how we handle ourselves and our relationships and is shown to distinguish star-performers in many fields with exceptional leaders attributing up to 90% of their success to thir emotional intelligence. Rsearch cited by Daniel Goleman shows the critical factor for sustained achievement is only a function of ability or talent but also 80% of achievement is dependent on emotional intelligence.
In this workshop we will provide guidelines for cultivating emotional intelligence capabilities. We will identify your own management and leadership style through self-assessment and experiential methods and begin developing a personal action plan for enhancing your leadership success.

Methodology
The workshop is designed to be highly interactive and uses a number of well known psychological self-evaluation instruments, a significant amount of small group discussion and several experiential exercises.
